Posted by gravityfree onApril 3, 2023 in General.

If you’re planning to travel to Siesta Key during the Easter and Passover holidays, we have the intel you need regarding what’s going on in the area. There are a variety of events, both exciting and meaningful, including Easter egg hunts, religious services, and beachy brunches. As a guest of Best Western Siesta Key, you’re in the perfect location to take part in all of these occasions.
Easter Egg Hunt at Turtle Beach
One of the most popular events on Easter Sunday is the Easter egg hunt on Turtle Beach, located at 8918 Midnight Pass Rd. This fun occasion is perfect for families with children of all ages. The hunt starts at 9:00 AM and concludes at 12:00 PM, so be sure to arrive on time so you don’t miss out on anything. In addition to the egg hunt, there will be other activities for kids to enjoy, including face painting, games, and more. The price is $10 for the Easter egg hunt and $5 for games, and includes a gift bag for kids to take home. Be sure to bring an Easter basket. Since the event is capped at 150 children, registration is required before the event.
Sunrise Easter Service on Siesta Beach
Another popular Easter event is the sunrise service on Siesta Beach. This service takes place from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM on Easter Sunday and is open to the public. Hosted by the Pine Shores Presbyterian Church, the event is held near the beach pavilion. It’s a beautiful way to start your day and celebrate the true meaning of Easter. The service is led by local pastors and includes live music and a message of hope and renewal. Be sure to bring a beach chair or towel to sit on, as seating is limited.
Traditional Passover Seder at Temple Beth Shalom
Temple Beth Shalom in Sarasota is hosting a Passover Seder and dinner on Wednesday, April 5th from 5:30PM to 8:30 PM. This is a perfect opportunity for vacationers in Siesta Key to observe the occasion while away from home. The Seder will include prayers and readings, as well as a traditional Passover meal and music. Led by Rabbi Stuart Altshuler, it is a great way to connect with the local Jewish community. Reservations ahead of time are required.
Easter Brunch Options
